Terms & Conditions

1. What this site is

IWBTFY is an unofficial trivia game and community made by fans, for fans. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the owners of the television show it is about. All names and trademarks belong to their owners.

2. Your account

You can play one round as a guest. To keep playing you need an account, and you must be at least 13 years old to create one.

Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and use one account per person. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

3. Playing fair

Points, levels, badges and rankings are for fun and have no cash value. We may reset scores or remove accounts that use scripts, multiple accounts or other tricks to climb the rankings.

4. What you post

You can post messages, a profile picture and drawings. Only post things you made yourself or have the right to share. Do not post photos of actors, official artwork, logos or clips from the show.

No hate, harassment, threats, sexual content, spam or advertising. Be the kind of fan you would want to play against.

Posts and drawings can be reported by other players and reviewed by us. We may hide or remove anything, or close an account, if these rules are broken.

You keep ownership of what you create. By posting it you allow us to show it on the site and in our social media and emails about the site.

5. Emails

We use your email address to run your account. If you tick the box when you sign up, we also send you a short email every couple of days with your level and ranking. You can stop these at any time from the link in every email or from your profile page.

6. Your information

We store your email address, name, country, profile picture, your answers and scores, and what you post. Your name, country, picture, score and posts are visible to other players. Your email address is never shown to them.

We do not sell your information. It is stored with the service providers that host the site and its database and send its emails.

To understand how the site is used, we count visits with privacy-friendly analytics that does not use cookies to follow you around, and we count anonymous events such as a finished round or a tapped share button.

You can change your name, country and picture on your profile page. To delete your account and everything linked to it, contact us.

7. The site itself

We try to keep the questions accurate and the site running, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees. Questions may contain mistakes, features may change, and the site may be unavailable at times. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using it.

The site may show advertising and links to products. Some links may earn us a commission at no cost to you.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you on the site or by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
